Yea, we couldn't stand them so... we grabbed a stack of flyers, made paper airplanes & through them at the band.
One hit the bass player & one got stuck in their amp cabinet.
We had to have some kind of fun.

I believe I was at that SD show at the Galaxy. The Vandals did a cover of Wait for the Blackout by the Damned. The Galaxy was a blast. Like the tri/bi level stage.

Good stuff. One of my first punk shows was at the Ritz in Riverside (TSOL). Interesting note: That TSOL/ADOLESCENTS show 82 at Palladium was one of very few(maybe only) shows the ADs did with a different singer named Sparky who has passed away. I was not there but I know Tony was not singing then. I think my first punk show was Lost Cause at the Cookoos nest with Mike Hirsch.

Seemed like chicks dug Big country but we hated them. Not much room for bagpipes in punk... I always had to change the radio station when they came on (and still do)

I wish I knew you guys back then, nobody I knew wanted to go to shows...

I had their clear red 45 record. but sold it when I was unemployed back in the mid 80's with a bunch of others.
I wish I still had it.

How about China White, I am not a drummer but that original guy was increadible. CH3. I even saw the original Misfits there.
plus Black Flag, Bad Religion, Descendants, Meat Puppets & billions of other bands.
Stop by sometime, I still have piles of flyers, photos & records.

The Ritz was that old disco place right? That place was cool to see bands. Dan I think the Misfit show Randy is talking about is the one I managed to get Teen SS to play.

Yea, The Ritz was on University Ave. right off the 91 freeway.
It was a Disco type club with shiny silver fringe type back ground & a disco ball in the middle of the dance floor. Although I was there when someone (probably John of Circle One) tore it out of the ceiling.
The place smelled of punk. do you remember the Leather & Clove mixture smell?

The one time I went there was with scott olson and the singer of TEEN SS, and Jack H. and tim swenson, scott padgett...John bozlog....funny.
