Dan, Did you join the Adolescents in 1987?
I saw them at Fenders Ballroom, Long Beach in 1986 & still have the ticket stub.
How did you get hooked up with them?

I joined in 86. I was a anaheim/fullerton guitar scene guy and just barged my way into their scene. They played Fenders twice in 86 before I joined. The original "re-union" and short after with the Mentors and Wasted Youth. Then I joined, went on tour w/ Bad Brains and played there again with them. We headlined there a little later with MDC and D.I. opening. I was also in D.I.
Mind over Four
Primal Dance (w/ mike hirsch)
Tender Fury (TSOL splinter group w/ Jack)
Rikk Agnew (solo)
and a bunch of others.

Can you post some of your old photos in here?
Were you in the Mentors or did you do a show with them?
I saw the Mentors at the Galaxy, probably in 81-82ish.
You were in some great bands. I remember tender fury too.
Rikk Agnew's solo album was great (714 embedded in your brain).
& the work he did with Christian Death.
I still have that one on vinyl, with the 1st 3 TSOL lp's & tons of others. My old punk band also played with DI, Social D, Vandals etc... so I have photos of alot of the older bands.
I am scanning some stuff for a band tonight so I will find that old Adolescents ticket I have.
Blue album & Welcome to Reality both ripped.
I have over 200 flyers as well. Gotta get to scannin'

If you want to post your flyers to the photo gallery that would be cool. I wish I had my old flyers but they are all gone. Let me know and I can set you up with an account to post in the gallery. Now that I am on the new server storage is no longer an issue

Danny in the Mentors, that would have been classic!

Here are a couple of my tickets.
I have tons. Notice...
Adolescents is on the bottom in pink
Devo is the one from 1979
Ramones, GBH, X, Blasters, Stray Cats before they got big.
& yes I even went to Big Country. I was bored that night.
But I have also seen Chuck Berry, Led Zeppelin & the Knack.
I am just a music whore.

Those are cool Randifer. I think I was at that Blasters show. I remember them opening for a old band called 20 20 that I used to watch. My best friend used to write songs with Jack from TSOL.

That is very cool Randifer. Looks like you saw some great shows but I don't know if I could have made it through Big Country!!! Funny how through skating or music some of us may have crossed paths all those years ago

The Skids were cool. Wasn't the guitar player and some of the other members of Big Country from the Skids? I want to see your flyer collection online. Let's get it going!!!!!!

Okay Dude, you asked for it.
Does anyone else remember seeing Social D, Shattered Faith, Vandals & the Mentors on 1 bill for 6 bucks?
