That was cool. I've only ever seen some photos of that place. That was awesome to see the whole place in motion. Totally crazy looking. Must have been fun.

Life is short, your boards don't have to be...

Where's the slalom cones after the ramp into bank one?
I tell people about this, but their eyes would glass over and would never understand anyways. Now there's AT LEAST some video of it.
Rep points for the finder on that one!

That's so cool! Brings back a lot of memories. I remember me and my brother just about losing our minds at seeing skateboarding on TV on one of our favorite shows at the time. This was definitely pre-VCR/DVD skatevideos so tv shows were it for seeing skating.
thanks for posting that.
A great thread, I remember that episode so clearly. Thanks.
WOW I used to skate there all the time. That really brought back some memories.

That was cool. Skatercross was the first park I ever rode. It was kinda the ultimate snake run. Never went back once parks with bowls / pools came along. Anyone know how long it lasted? Amazing to think how far skating and skatepark design has progressed - course it has been almost 30 years.
Who was the better skater? Ponch had an interesting stance. However, I don't think that stance is conducive to shredding. I think Larry Wilcox was way more of the shredder.
