The new Venice Skatepark is having their Grand Opening this coming Saturday. The park looks really good. I am sure it is going to be a heavy turnout. We will be there covering the event so look for photos and video after the Grand Opening.

Congrats to Nick Merlino, Jani Laitiala (again), and the Foundation team for killing it the hardest (at least according to the judges). In case you have been out of the loop, the Etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest is expanding. The largest skatepark in SoCal is getting much bigger and the design looks really good.. Look for completion in 2010.
