So the annual Basic Bowl contest went down in Huntington Beach, CA last Saturday April 21st and once again I get to miss the annual contest. I did however get to watch a killer Bratz DVD with my 8 year old daughter Gabriella. There was a great scene in the DVD where one of the Bratz “Cat” picked up a skunk and thought it was a cat. I tell you once she realized it was a skunk the skunk sensed her fear and you know what happened next. Heavy….
Chris Hamrock Getting It Done
Luckily we had a crew at the event shredding the pool and getting coverage of the contest. After editing over an hour of video from the contest I do feel like I was there and hopefully you will get a good feel for what went down at the Basic Bowl in 2007. Congratulations to our very own SoCalSkateShop team riders Andrew Miller for taking 3rd place in the Sponsored Am Division and to Nolan Johnson for taking 2nd in the Pro Division - $200 bucks buys alot of candy Nolan.

Getting Ready for the Protec Pool Party 2007
Saturday, April 7th, 2007The 3rd Annual Protec Pool Party will take place Saturday May 14th 2007 at the Vans Skatepark at the Block of Orange.
