The city of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department is holding a community meeting on 05/21/08 at 5:00pm at the HOLA Office on 2701 Wilshire Blvd Ste 100, LA 90057. The meeting is for the presentation of The Lafayette Skate Plaza. Rob Dydrek/DC Shoes Skate Foundation is sponsoring the design and has enlisted Newline Skate to do the design.
We are wanting the local skaters to show up and give them the support and input we need to make the project successful.
Hopefully this is going to be the first of many spots.
P.S. These are going to be unsupervised skate spots.
