And Evan, $58 is a great price, IMO, for a custom deck made to your specs. Granted, most of what Pete makes are old school decks, not the popsicle decks like you ride, which are a dime a dozen.

The last few cds have not been that great just kind of going through the motions.. Heyday is a classic.. I saw them open for The Cure or The Smiths (can't remember) at Irvine Meadows and it was a great show. Saw The Church at a small bar in Sacramento and it was an amazing show.

SDO, my point was that many decks that are sold in Mike's shop were suggested in that very thread. You proposed going around Mike direct to Rainskates, which is suggesting to that guy to take away a sale from Mike. Then you say in this thread that you never tell people to go direct to the manufacturer.

You, my friend, are the idiot if you think your lame explanation that it's only a deck excuses this fact. Wheels, decks, trucks, whatever, it's all money out of Mike's pocket. If Mike is cool with it, then fine, but don't tell people you would never do it out one side of your mouth and then do it out of the other side.
